File System Tasks
Using the QuickLog Feature

After you have provided all necessary information in the dialog box, click
OK.
NOTE
• This task is only available if QuickLog is installed/licensed.
• This task requires a file system name.
• Only VxFS file systems can be used with a QuickLog device.
• The specified QuickLog device must already have a designated
QuickLog volume.
• If no log device number is specified, the least-loaded device is used.
Disabling a QuickLog Device for a File System
The QuickLog Disable procedure disables QuickLog for a VxFS file
system.
To disable a QuickLog device for a file system
Step 1. Select the file system to have QuickLog disabled.
Step 2. Choose Actions > QuickLog > Disable.
Step 3. Check that the correct file system name is displayed in the Disable
QuickLog dialog box, then click OK.
NOTE
• The QuickLog Disable task is only available if QuickLog is
installed/licensed.
