Creating a Dynamic Volume

You can create the following dynamic volumes:

◆ Concatenated (Concatenated and Concatenated Pro)

◆ Striped (Striped and Striped Pro)

◆ RAID-5

◆ Mirrored

▼ To create a dynamic volume

1. Right-click a dynamic disk group in the tree view the right pane, and select New

Volume from the context menu. The Create Volume wizard appears.

You canalso select thecommand from the Actionsmenu or clickthe New Volume tool

on the toolbar (the third tool from the left side of the toolbar).

2. Click Next to continue.

The screen for selecting attributes comes upnext. Your screen should be similar to the

sample screen that follows.
