What is VERITAS File System 3.5 (HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5)?

If you do choose to upgrade to VERITAS File System (HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5), please
note the following considerations:
• Functionality of VERITAS File System3.5 (HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5) is basically
equivalent to the HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.3 version.
• The VERITAS File System 3.5 (HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5) is not suitable for and should
not be used in high-performance technical computing environments.
• The maximum file size and file system size supported by the VERITAS File System
3.5 (HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5) product on HP-UX 11i is 2TB.
• The full VxFS 3.3 (HP OnlineJFS 3.3), HP Product Number B3929CA, must be
present on the system to upgrade to VERITAS File System 3.5 (HP OnlineJFS/JFS
3.5).
