Command Differences

This chapter describes the differences between LVM and VxVM commands, and tasks. It
includes atask comparisonchart which lists some of thetasks performed using LVM with
a near equivalent task performed using VxVM. It also provides a list of VxVM tasks which
are not available with LVM, and the LVM features currently not supported in VxVM. The
following topics are discussed in this chapter:

The table below lists the LVM commands and a near equivalent command to use in VxVM.
