24.List the current VxVM configuration to a file, for example, file2.
# vxprint -hm > /file2
25.Compare file1 that was created in Step 1 and file2 to ensure that all of the previously
existing volumes have been found.
26.Enter the license key that was saved in the vxlicense1.out file in Step 3 by using the
following command:
# vxlicense -c
You will be prompted to enter the license key.
27.Save the new license key configuration:
# vxlicense -p > /vxlicense2.out
28.Compare vxlicense1.out and vxlicense2.out to ensure that all the licenses have been
installed.
29.Check to see that the license-key files are in the /etc/vx/elm directory (see Step 2).
