VxVM B.03.11 Features in June 2001 HP-UX 11i Application Software

The following features and support were first available in the VERITAS Volume Manager for

HP-UX Version B.03.11 on the June 2001 HP-UX 11i Application Software and continue to be

available in the current release.

• New version of the Storage Administrator GUI with updated JRE

VERITAS Volume Manager for HP-UX Version B.03.11 includes a new version of vmsa

(3.1.1), the Storage Administrator graphical user interface. This version uses an updated

Java Runtime Environment, JRE C.01.18.05.

• Support for the following peripherals:

— HP Surestore Disk Array xp512 (DMP active/active)

— HP Surestore Virtual Array 7100 (DMP active/active)

— HP Surestore Disk Array xp48 (DMP active/active)

No new software or patch is required for this support.

• Support for J-class workstations. No new software or patch is required for this support.
