Error Messages
DMP Error Messages
There is only one remaining active path to the root disk. This cannot
be disabled. The user is trying to disable a controller accessible
through this path.
• Action
Do not try to disable this controller. This is not allowed.

• Description
The path with the device number indicated by the message, has been
marked disabled in the DMP database. This path is controlled by the
DMP node indicated by the specified device number. This could have
happened due to a hardware failure.
• Action
Check the underlying hardware in case you want to recover the
desired path.

• Description
The path with the device number indicated by the message, has been
marked enabled in the DMP database. This path is controlled by the
DMP node indicated by the specified device number. This can happen
if a previously disabled path has been repaired and the user has
reconfigured the DMP database using the vxdctl(1M) command or,
automatically.
