Path Failure detected by vxdmp driver
vxvm:vxdmp:NOTICE: Path failure on <major>/<minor>
• Description
Appears when a path under the control of the DMP driver fails. The
device number of the failed path is part of the message.
• Action
None.
Load of sd driver failed
vxvm:vxdmp:NOTICE: Could not load sd driver
• Description
Appears when a path under the control of the DMP driver fails. The
device number of the failed path is part of the message.
• Action
None.
Install of sd driver failed
vxvm:vxdmp:NOTICE: Could not install sd driver
• Description
During initialization, if the vxdmp driver tries to load the sd driver. If
the attempt fails, this message appears.
• Action
None.
Can’t lock sd driver
vxvm:vxdmp:NOTICE: could not lock sd driver
• Description
The sd driver is locked during vxdmp driver initialization to avoid
unloading of the driver. The message is printed when the sd driver
cannot be locked.
