Volume Manager Configuration Daemon Error Messages
Usage: vxconfigd - short
Usage: vxconfigd [-dkf] [-r reset] [-m mode] [-x level]

• Description
This is the standard vxconfigd usage error message. Appearance of
this message implies that some option was supplied incorrectly.
• Action
If you need help in using vxconfigd, try using the command
vxconfigd help.

-r must be followed by ’reset’

This is a usage error. The -r option requires an option argument
consisting of the string reset.

Either don’t use the -r option, or supply the reset option argument.
