Displaying and rescanning tablespace information
You can rescan, or refresh, tablespaces to make sure system information is
up-to-date.
When a new tablespace is created or when existing tablespaces are deleted, the
changes can be updated by selecting the option to rescan the database instance.
By selecting the option to rescan the tablespace information, you can update the
system with current information more quickly.
To display tablespace information

Access the wizard for this task.
See “Accessing system maintenance tasks in the Java GUI” on page 29.

Expand your view to display the tablespace information.

Select the rescan option.

Click OK to continue.
Viewing Storage Mapping
The Storage Foundation for Oracle GUI enables you to view Storage Mapping
topology. For a more detailed description of the Topology page:

To view Oracle datafile Storage Mapping topology

Access the Oracle datafile Storage Mapping topology wizard.

When you are through, click Close to quit.
Viewing I/O statistics
The Storage Foundation for Oracle GUI enables you to view Storage Mapping I/O
statistics.
To view Oracle datafile I/O statistics

Access the Oracle datafile I/O statistics wizard.

To enable the Get Statistics button, enter the sampling information:
