Supported configurations

Cached ODM is supported for:

■ Storage Foundation (HA)

■ Storage Foundation Cluster File System (HA)

■ Local and cluster mounts

Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC is not currently supported.

Cached ODM does not affect the performance of files and file systems for which

you did not enable caching.

About Cached ODM Manager

The Cached ODM Manager is a tool for database administrators which provides

the following:

■ Cached ODM Manager enables you to manage and configure cached ODM on

database files without requiring root privileges.

■ The settings applied with the Cached ODM Manager are automatically

persistent and common across all the cluster nodes.

Note: Cached ODM Manager does not provide an interface to the ODM cachemap.
