About Database FlashSnap status information

Veritas Database FlashSnap functionality provides the following information for

the various snapplan stages and snapshot procedures:

■ Snapshot status information

■ Snapshot database status information

Database FlashSnap Snapshot status information

from the CLI

To view snapshot status information from the command line interface (CLI), use

the dbed_vmchecksnap command with the -o list option to list all available

snapplans for a specified database. Snapshot status information is displayed in

the command output under the column heading SNAP_STATUS.

Note: The snapshot status and snapshot database status information may also

appear in error messages.
