Deploying Storage Foundation for Databases (SFDB)

tools in a Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC

environment

If you are deploying the SFDB tools with Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC

(multiple instance Oracle) your setup configuration will reflect the following

conditions:

■ A highly available parallel cluster with a multiple instances of Oracle is set up

on system1 system2, and system3 with SF for Oracle RAC.

■ The database is online on system1, system2, and system3.

■ The datafiles are mounted and shared on system1, system2, and system3.

■ The SFDB tools is mounted and shared on system1, system2, and system3.

■ You can run the SFDB tools commands on system1, system2, and system3.
