The Role of Component Products
SFCFS includes VERITAS Volume Manager (VxVM). In HP Serviceguard Storage Management
Suite environments, Serviceguard provides the communication, configuration, and membership
services required to create a cluster.
Serviceguard is the first component installed and configured to set up a cluster file system.
GAB/LTT
GAB and LLT protocols are implemented directly on an Ethernet data link.
They run on redundant data links that connect the nodes in a cluster.
Redundant cluster communication links are required to avoid single points of failure.
In HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite environments, Serviceguard maintains
GAB and LLT configuration automatically.
