Veritas File System 5.1 SP1 Release Notes

Problem
Under some circumstances, Storage Checkpoints can exceed the quota limit set by the
fsckptadm setquotalimit command. This issue can arise if all of the following conditions
are met:
The Storage Checkpoint quota has been enabled.
The Storage Checkpoint quota is not exceeded.
A file content modification operation, including removing a file, needs to push some or
all blocks of the file to the Storage Checkpoint.
Number of blocks that need to be pushed to the Storage Checkpoint is enough to exceed
Storage Checkpoint quota hard limit.
Workaround
There is no workaround for this issue.
Problem
The vxfsconvert command can only convert file systems that are less than 1 TB in size. If
the file system size is greater than 1 TB, the vxfsconvert command fails with the "Out of
Buffer cache" error.
Workaround
For file systems greater than 1 TB in size, you can use the vxupgrade command to convert
the file systems.
Problem
In rare cases, a race condition can cause a panic in the vx_unlockmap() routine.
Workaround
There is no workaround for this issue. A fix is being worked on and the patch will be released
in future.
