New Features
The VERITAS File System 4.1 has the following new features and changes:
• Cross-Platform Data Sharing (CDS)
Cross-platform data sharing feature allows data to be serially shared among
heterogeneous systems that have direct access to the physical devices holding the data.
This feature can be used only with VERITAS Volume Manager. For more information on
