9 VERITAS QuickLog

Introduction

VERITAS QuickLog™ is an optionally licensable feature that enhances file system performance. Although

QuickLog can improve file system performance, VxFS does not require QuickLog to operate effectively.

VERITAS QuickLog is part of the VRTSvxfs package, but is available for use only with other VERITAS

products. See the VERITAS File System 3.5 (OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5) Release Notes for current product

information.
