Hewlett-Packard provides the base VERITAS File System 3.5 (base VxFS 3.5) product as
part of the HP-UX 11i v2 Operating Environments.
A standard HP-UX 11i v2 Operating Environment installation sets up the HP-UX
filesystem with base VxFS 3.5 (also called JFS 3.5). To add VxFS 3.5 (OnlineJFS 3.5) ,
purchase the product separately with HP Product Number B3929DA.

Support
HP-UX Version 2 Operating Environment is the final release to support the VxFS
Version 2 and Version 3 disk layouts. Though you can still mount these older disk layout
versions, you cannot create them using the VERITAS mkfs command.
