HP recommends a minimum of 512 megabytes of memory to use VERITAS File System
3.5 (HP OnlineJFS/JFS 3.5).
Disk Space
Requirements
Before installing the software, make sure that there is sufficient storage space on your
target system. The following table shows the minimum space required and the directory
distribution for each package. All values are shown in megabytes.
NOTE The space requirement for /stand is the estimated space needed to save a copy of the old
kernel for a typical system. You may require more or less space, depending on your
configuration.
