C
configuration The hardware you have
connected to yourcomputer, and the way you
have instructed your computer to use the
hardware. Hardware can include drives,
boards, printers, displays, and so on.
configuration file A configuration file.
Every board or option you add to your
computer needs a CFG (configuration) file.
This file tells the EISA Configuration Utility
what resources the board will use, the best
placement of the board in your computer,
and whether you need to set any jumpers or
switches on the board. Refer to another
manual for information about where to find
the CFG files, and how to copy them to your
system configuration work diskette
