Installing VxFS 5.0 and VxVM 5.0

Verifying Base-VxFS-50 Installation
To verify that the Base-VxFS-50 software is installed, enter the following:
# swverify Base-VxFS-50
If the Base-VxFS-50 software is successfully installed on your system, you will see the
following output:

NOTE: More information may be found in the agent logfile using the

NOTE You must install the patch PHCO_35304, after installing Base-VxFS-50.
Installing OnlineJFS (B3929FA)
The HP OnlineJFS software enables the full VxFS functionality. You can install OnlineJFS
(B3929FA) either in non-interactive mode or in the interactive mode.
NOTE Installing OnlineJFS 5.0 will remove earlier versions of OnlineJFS.
