5. Use the Ignite-UX interface to deselect VxVM 4.1 software. On the Software tab, deselect
the following:
Base-VxVM(OE) Base VERITAS Volume Manager Bundle 4.1 for HP-UX
6. Make any other configuration choices needed using the Ignite-UX interface, and then select
Go! to cold-install the client.
Confirming the Client
After the system boots, confirm the client has the intended software and configuration. To confirm
the software and the configuration, complete the following steps:
1. Confirm the correct hostname by entering the following command:
# hostname
2. Confirm the correct OE version by entering the following command:
# swlist | grep HPUX
3. Confirm installation of OnlineJFS for Veritas File System 5.0 Bundle by entering the following
command:
# swlist B3929FB
4. Confirm installation of Full VxVM License for Veritas Volume Manager by entering the
following command:
# swlist B9116CB
5. Confirm installation of VERITAS Infrastructure Bundle 5.0 for HP-UX by entering the
following command:
# swlist Base-VxTools-50
6. Confirm installation of Base VERITAS Volume Manager Bundle 5.0 for HP-UX by entering
the following command:
# swlist Base-VxVM-50
7. Confirm installation of Veritas File System Bundle 5.0 for HP-UX by entering the following
command:
# swlist Base-VxFS-50
8. Confirm installation of Base VxFS File System 4.1 Bundle for HP-UX by entering the following
command:
# swlist Base-VxFS
9. Confirm the absence of Base VERITAS Volume Manager Bundle 4.1 for HP-UX by entering
the following command:
# swlist Base-VxVM
