• LVM command-line interface: LVM has a number of low-level user commands to perform LVM
tasks, described in “Physical Volume Management Commands” (page 42), “Volume Group
Management Commands” (page 42), and “Logical Volume Management Commands”
(page 43).
The following tables provide an overview of which commands perform a given task. For more
information, see the LVM individual manpages.
