With the March 2008 release of HP-UX 11i v3,
vgdisplay displays the volume g

roup version, the maximum size to
which the volume group can grow and the maximum number of physical extents.
LVM supports a new
–V option, which displays the volume
formation for all volume groups of the specified version.
