About This Document The Lights-Out Advanced / KVM card (LOA) is a PCI-X card that you install into any sx2000–based HP Integrity server. The LOA card enables the advanced virtual graphical console (known as vKVM, for virtual keyboard, video and mouse) and virtual CD/DVD/ISO image file (known as vMedia) features of the HP Integrity Lights-Out Management Processor (known as the iLO/MP).

Technologies / Features The Lights-Out Advanced features of the LOA card offer greater flexibility in remote server management, increaed ease of use and convenience for server administrators. Summary The HP Lights-Out Advanced / KVM card offers system administrators flexibility and manageability of sx2000–based Integrity servers for both remote management and management while in the datacenter. The vKVM (integrated remote console) feature enables full remote management with seamless KVM functionality at all times, while vMedia enables administrators to perform system updates or full OS deployment from a remote management workstation.
