SCTP Release Notes HP-UX 11i v2, HP-UX 11i v3 (5900-1238, October 2010)

Prerequisites
The following patches are required to install SCTP on a system running HP-UX 11i v2:
• PHNE_34788

• PHKL_36626
• PHKL_31500
• PHKL_36301
• PHKL_37044
• PHKL_37045
The following patches are required to install SCTP on a system running HP-UX 11i v3:
• PHKL_37460
• PHNE_36281
Installation Instructions
To install SCTP, complete the following steps:
1. Review “Prerequisites” (page 11) to ensure that your system meets SCTP
installation requirements.
2. Go to the HP Software Depot website at:
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/
You can search for “SCTP” to access the SCTP product.
3. Use the Search button to browse for SCTP. The product catalog page is displayed.
4. Select SCTP in the product catalog. The SCTP page is displayed.
5. Read the “Overview” and “Installation” pages for SCTP.
6. Select the Receive for Free>> option at the bottom right of any of these pages.
7. Enter the registration information. Read and accept the terms and conditions
statements.
8. Click Next>>. The Electronic Delivery Receipt page is displayed.
9. Select the SCTP depot under Download Software.
The SCTP depot contains the HPUX-SCTP.SCTP product.
10. Save the SCTP depot in a local directory, for example, /tmp.
11. To verify that the SCTP depot is downloaded properly in the local directory, enter
the following HP-UX MD5 Secure Checksum command at the HP-UX prompt:
# md5sum HPUX-SCTP
The output of this command must match the fingerprint provided in the Electronic
Delivery Receipt. If the output does not match, download the SCTP depot again.
