Migrating X.25 over ACC to X.25 over PSI

Cards:

The HP-UX ACC multi port adapter (Z7340A, Z7200A Z7400A, Z7350A, Z7330A, and Z7300A) is

replaced with a X.25 PSI adapter (Product number J3525A) and it requires a PCI or PCI–X slot on

the system. Several J3525A adapters may be required, if the ACC adapter that is being replaced

has more than two ports.

Warning: The HP-UX ACC multi port adapter should be removed from the system as a part of

hardware migration.

Cables:

The ACC cables used with the ACC adapter are replaced with an X.25 cable, which is compatible

with the X.25 PSI adapter used. The X.25 cable is connected between the HP-UX system and the

X.25 switch or X.25 router. X.25/ACC also uses hardware (multi port distribution panel) between

the adapter and cable, which is no longer required with X.25/PSI.
