Conﬁguring HP FTAM/9000

FTAM Parameters: ftam_parms

ft_no_of_recovery This parameter allows you to conﬁgure the number

of recoveries that will be attempted on each ﬁle

transfer. This will prevent looping of the recovery

procedure. The value is only used if the ft_qos error

class is set to 1 or 2.

ft_recovery_timer This parameter allows you to conﬁgure the time of

delay required for the local FTAM responder to

recover, before the recovery procedure begins. The

timer is sent back to the FTAM initiator via the

F-RECOVER response. The FTAM initiator will

retry with an F-RECOVER request after the timer

has expired. The value is only used if the ft_qos

error class is set to 1 or 2.
