The NSAP portion of the Presentation Address is the NSAP conﬁgured

for the local node and is added automatically by the conﬁguration

program.

ae_objid This object ID may optionally be sent by an application or

service during connection establishment, and may be used

for security or authentication purposes by non-HP

equipment. If the other equipment does not require this

object ID, no object ID should be conﬁgured. Globally unique

object IDs are assigned by CCITT and/or ISO; a private

organization can assign its own.
