HP-UX Mobile IPv4, version A.03.01, provides mobility support for mobile devices to migrate
from their home network to other networks, either within the same administrative domain or
to other administrative domains on the Internet.
HP-UX Mobile IPv4 product supports IP Encapsulation and IP Tunneling to facilitate
transparent routing and tunneling of datagrams to a Mobile Node in a foreign network. The
product also supports Reverse Tunneling and Route Optimization.
HP-UX Mobile IPv4 is designed for a wide-ranging commercial deployment of Mobile IP that
requires AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) services and support. This
release supports the use of AAA servers using the Diameter protocol to authenticate Mobile
Nodes. The Mobile IPv4 Challenge/Response Extension in the product allows for registration
replay protection and mobile node authentication by a Foreign Agent.

).
NOTE Mobile IPv4 A.03.01 is available as an optional product in the HP-UX 11i v2
and HP-UX 11i v3 operating systems. To install Mobile IPv4 A.03.01, you must
select the Mobile IPv4 A.03.01 product while installing the HP-UX 11i v2 or
HP-UX 11i v3 operating system.
