#Spamassassin end
The rules :0fw:spamassassin.lock and | /usr/bin/spamc feed the entire message
to spamc, which sends the message to spamd for spam score calculation. spamd also adds
and modifies headers to indicate that the message is spam. It adds a X-Spam-Status:
Yes header for any messages with a spam score 5.0 (default) or more, and it also adds a
X-Spam-Level: ******* with the number of asterisks equal to the integer part of the
score. Alernatively, a spam with a score of 8.3 is tagged with a X-Spam-Level: ********
header.
You can use the X-Spam-Level header to provide the following detail: 5.0 and 10.0.
Emails with a score 10.0 and higher are submitted to a separate directory ($HOME/spam10).
You need not check this directory frequently or you can check the directory on a need basis.
These messages are almost certainly spam with little chance of false positives. With the
messages filtered, you can direct all the remaining spams (with scores between 5.0 and 9.9)
to the $HOME/spamassassin-spam folder. You must check this directory regularly because
some messages may be incorrectly identified as spam.
Following is a snapshot of the $HOME/spamassassin-spam file that contains mails with
score greater than 5.0:

Spam detection software, running on the system "itan.hp.com", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.
