This section discusses the “milter” functionality in Sendmail and the procedure to configure mail

systems with various Milter programs. These programs enable a mail client to block, verify, and

sort incoming mails and provide an effective mailing solution. This section also includes selected

usage models and examples, and the benefits of using Milters with Sendmail on an HP-UX

system.
