The netstat utility reports network and protocol statistics regarding traffic and the local
LAN interface. As shown in Figure 5-2, there are many options to netstat. The options that
are most useful are those which display information that is not available through other
commands such as ping and lanadmin, for example, -a and -r options. You can also use the
lanadmin or nwmgr command to obtain LAN driver statistics. For more detailed information
on these diagnostics, refer to the netstat(1M), lanadmin(1M), and nwmgr(1M) man pages.
