HP FTAM Release Notes Announcement Announcement HP FTAM version E.09.00 on HP-UX 11i v3 is now available. File Transfer, Access and Management (FTAM) is an international standard for transfer, access, and management of files in an open network. HP FTAM is a HP implementation of this standard.
HP FTAM Release Notes What is in this Version? What is in this Version? HP FTAM version E.09.00 on HP-UX 11i v3 contains new features and functionalities. Features HP FTAM version E.09.00 provides support for IPF FTAM API libraries (32 bit and 64 bit), 32 bit binaries for IPF (Itanium Platform). Therefore, FTAM applications can be compiled on IPF linked with IPF libraries, and run on IPF. HP FTAM version E.09.00 provides support to accommodate up to 100 concurrent file transfer requests.

HP FTAM Release Notes Defects and Enhancement requests included in this release Defects and Enhancements included in this Release 1. ENHANCEMENT Enhancement Description FTAM has been ported from HP-UX 11i v2 to HP-UX 11i v3. FTAM is now available for HP-UX 11i v3. FTAM binaries and libraries are available for IPF. 2. JAGaf82768 Symptom An unexpected abort is received when a remote system does a get or put operation to a trusted system.
HP FTAM Release Notes Defects and Enhancement requests included in this release 4. JAGaf93190 Symptom Defect Description Resolution Unexpected abort is received when more than 28 concurrent file transfers are made. This is after the code has been changed to accommodate more than 10 concurrent file transfers. With a multithreaded application ft_fcopy fails after 28 concurrent file transfer since resources were getting exhausted (FTAM error: FTE007_NO_REQ_RESOURCES FTE007).
