HP Remote Device Access Virtual CAS Release Notes (October 2009)

Known Issues
Updates will not work with web proxy servers using digest authentication. This is a known
limitation of the Debian apt-get program. Our testing indicates that basic authentication works.
NTLM authentication has not yet been verified.
OCSP certificate checking does not work with a web proxy server. This is a current limitation
with the OpenSSH X.509 patches that the Virtual CAS uses.
Installation Instructions
Log into the Virtual CAS’s Web UI and select Updates in the left-hand column.
Click on the Check Now button. You should see a list of packages that will be updated.
If you wish to update your Virtual CAS, click on Update Now.
The Virtual CAS version is displayed in the center right portion of the banner. After updating you
should see ‘9.10-xxx’ indicating the Virtual CAS has been updated. Please note that you may
have to clear your web browser’s cache and completely restart your web browser for the web UI
changes to take effect.
