lanadmin Options Not Supported The following lanadmin options are examples for options
not supported by IPoIB interfaces and the errors displayed.
Setting the MAC address of the interface to default:
lanadmin -A default 9000

lanscan Command
Displaying Link Configuration Description: This command displays major number, hardware
and IPoIB interface status. The command also displays the IPoIB PPA, interface name, station
address and hardware status.
Syntax: lanscan

Introduction
HP Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand is supported with Serviceguard over IPoIB.
Serviceguard uses IPoIB interfaces as cluster heartbeat links. From Serviceguard's perspective,
the IPoIB interfaces are similar to other LAN interfaces.
SGeRAC customers can take advantage of the HP Fabric Clustering System by sharing the
Serviceguard heartbeat traffic and Oracle RAC cache fusion traffic in the same InfiniBand cluster.
