Resetting the Adapter Description: This option resets the adapter.
NOTE: You must be superuser to execute this option.
Syntax: itutil [-R] [interface_name]
Example: # itutil -R ib0
NOTE: If there are applications that are using the adapter, you have the choice of force-resetting
the adapter or exiting without resetting the adapter.
Itutil Management Commands
itutil has been modified to incorporate new AD313A and AB286C Cards In the following
example of the new version of itutil, running on a system with one AD313A and two AB286C
cards, both AD313A and AB286C cards are identified in the IA Type field as IB (Low
Profile):
