Chapter Overview
• Each of the above commands has, as a parameter, a file or directory
name. The next section shows how to specify file and directory names.
• The remainder of this chapter describes how to use each of the
commands listed above, along with its options and parameters.
• Some of the above commands can take command options. These
options are discussed separately for each command.
• The above commands can use the -X or -z command options to satisfy
file protection requirements. Using these options requires knowledge
of the FTAM file protection mechanisms. FTAM file protection is the
subject of Chapter 5, “FTAM File Protection.”
