that the Integrity VM guest was booted on and older than the current VSP, provided the Integrity
VM guest has not been rebooted since the first migration.
• For example, an Integrity VM guest booted on a VSP with HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM
V6.1.5 may be forward migrated online to a VSP with V6.3 and then fallback migrated online
to a VSP with V6.2 (and then again to V6.1.5 or even directly to V6.1.5) provided the Integrity
VM guest has not been rebooted since the first migration from V6.1.5. See Figure 3 (page
39).

Migration of an inactive vPar or Integrity VM from a VSP with one version of HP-UX
virtualization software (HP Integrity VM or HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM V6.x), to a VSP with
an older version of HP-UX virtualization software.

Online migration is supported only for Integrity VM guests.
