icod_stat Command Output Changes
The icod_stat command’s output has different meanings, depending on
whether your iCOD system is a non-partitionable system or a
partitionable system.
For details of the different meanings of information from the icod_stat
command for non-partitionable and partitionable iCOD systems, refer to
the iCOD User’s Guide for version B.05.00
Test Activation Policy
The Test Activation policy has changed for iCOD version B.05.00. An
iCOD system cannot be used for free testing more than once.
For details on the Test Activation policy, refer to the iCOD User’s Guide
for version B.05.00.
Removal of the iCOD Software Agent in a Virtual
Partition Environment
In a vPar environment, you cannot remove the iCOD software agent,
unless the following conditions are true:
• all processors in the hard partition are assigned to vPars in that
hard partition
• all vPars are active and all processors within the vPars are active
• the total number of processors assigned to all vPars for the hard
partition = total processors
