Downloading HP Instant Capacity version 10.x

The HP-UX Instant Capacity 10.x software can be obtained from the HP software depot website.
The product ID is B9073BA. You can use the product ID or use the search string Instant Capacity
to search the iCAP 10.x software.

• Install HP Instant Capacity
Run the following command #/usr/sbin/swinstall -s /<download path>/<iCAP
depot> B9073BA where, <download path> is the location where you have downloaded

Enabling Hyperthreading on iCAP systems
The icapstatus and vparstatus commands indicate the number of the activated physical
cores regardless of the lcpu_attr tunable value on nPars and vPars A.05.x.
