diskowner(1M) Command
The diskowner(1M) command is used to retrieve the subsystem, if any, that is using the specified
path. The command is intended to help prevent users from overwriting storage that is already in
use. The command will print out the owner of the path, or none if no owner was found.
Summary of Change
The diskowner(1M) has been enhanced to recognize paths having “OCR” or “Vote” on them. If
the given path is owned by either OCR or Vote, then diskowner(1M) displays the owner as "OCR"
or "Vote" respectively.
This enhancement is enabled through patch PHCO_43004, which is delivered in the FEATURE11i
patch bundle.
