USB UHCI controller enhancement
The PHKL_42840 patch enhances the USB UHCI controller performance.
Summary of Change
Previously, UHCI bus bandwidth was not effectively utilized, resulting in degraded performance.
For the September 2012 release, the packet transfer and scheduling implementation has been
revised to improve the controller performance.
This enhancement is enabled by the PHKL_42840 patch, delivered in the FEATURE11i bundle.
Compatibility
There are no known compatibility issues.
Performance
Inadequate utilization of the UHCI USB bandwidth could lead to performance degradation. The
packet transfer and scheduling implementation has been revised to improve the controller
performance.
