Known problems
This section contains critical, late-breaking information that was not included
in the HP-UX 11i v3 Installation and Update Guide.
Before cold-installing or updating to HP-UX 11i v3, make sure you read this
entire section as well as “Appendix A: Known install and update problems,”
in the HP-UX 11i v3 Installation and Update Guide.

Release Notes Indicates Incorrect Version for Thunderbird
The HP-UX 11i Version 3 Release Notes document indicates that the version
of Mozilla Thunderbird shipped with HP-UX 11i v3 September 2009 is
version 2.0.0.19. Due to a packaging issue that occurred after HP-UX 11i
Version 3 Release Notes was finalized, in order to ensure reliability HP decided
to ship Thunderbird version 2.0.0.16 with the HP-UX 11i v3 September 2009
release.
What to Do
No action on your part is necessary. You can use Thunderbird version 2.0.0.16
with the HP-UX 11i v3 September 2009 release. If you want to install and
run Thunderbird version 2.0.0.19, you can install it from http://www.hp.com/
go/java.
