Finding the latest firmware updates
HP recommends that you sign up for Subscribers Choice so you can
automatically receive email notices for the latest firmware updates. Make
sure you register all your products to receive the appropriate notices. Go to
the IT Resource Center (http://itrc.hp.com) and click Subscribe to proactive
notifications and security bulletins.
You can also go to the Business Support Center website (http://www.hp.com/
go/bizsupport) for the latest HP-UX 11i firmware updates. To obtain system
firmware files, installation instructions, and release notes, click Download
Drivers and Software.
This site provides a searchable database for various products or you can
follow the links to select the latest firmware download for your specific
server product.
Make sure you read the release notes for the firmware to ensure a successful
update. In general, HP recommends you update to the latest firmware
available before installing or updating to HP-UX 11i v3.

HP-UX Virtual Partitions and HP Integrity Virtual
Machines are incompatible
HP-UX Virtual Partitions (vPars) is not compatible with HP Integrity Virtual
Machines (Integrity VM). The vPars and Integrity VM products cannot be
installed on the same nPartition or the same virtual partition.
