What To Do

The I/O configuration listing will not normally include the

vMedia device. After the USB driver indicates device attach via

the messages above, use the "r" rescan option to rescan the I/O

configuration. This will result in the system displaying the

message and prompt again. This time the vMedia USB DVD

device will be listed. Select the vMedia device using the I/O

configuration index number.

For example, in the output below the response to the prompt

would be ‘7’. After you select the vMedia device, the install will

continue normally. This issue will be fixed in a future HP-UX

release.
