Access to Root File System Disabled
The vxfs file system unmounts and access to the root file
system is disabled if all the following conditions are true:
• The root/boot is on a SAS disk claimed by the
SerialSCSI driver, sasd.
• The root volume is mounted on the vxvm volume
manager.
• The SAS HBA went into an error (fault) state or an
HBA reset was issued using the following command:
sasmgr reset -D <
HBA device file >.
What To Do
If the system hung, perform a transfer of control.
If the system panicked, the system will save the crash
dump. Contact HP Support with the crash dump
information.
