HP-UX 11i v3 Persistent DSF Migration Guide

hwpath keywords can be either from the legacy or agile view.
o ioscan -P keyword [-H hw_path]: This option displays the
properties of system hardware. The -P option takes one of the
keywords (such as health, instance, and so on); for a complete
list, see the -P option in ioscan(1M).
The hw_path parameter is from the agile view and the display uses
the agile view as well.
o ioscan -r -H hw_path: The -r option removes a deferred driver
binding. Input parameter must be in the agile view.

rmsf
This command accepts either legacy or persistent DSF. It has a new option,
-L,
to disable the legacy naming model and remove legacy DSFs on the system.
insf
This command creates both legacy and persistent DSFs. It also has a new
option, -L, to re-enable the legacy naming model and recreate legacy DSFs on
the system. The combination of the –Lv options report whether the legacy
naming model is enabled on the system or not.
lssf
This command accepts both legacy and persistent DSFs.
mksf
This command creates either legacy or persistent DSFs.
