HP Insight managed system setup wizard
HP Insight managed system setup wizard configures systems to enable them to be managed by
HP Systems Insight Manager software (HP SIM) and its plug-in applications. The managed system
setup wizard eases configuration of systems for many HP Insight software products and features,
including Insight Dynamics, Insight Control, and HP SIM.
Summary of Change
HP Insight managed system setup wizard supports new hardware and supports upgrading from
previous releases of the wizard.
Impact
Before running the wizard after installing or upgrading it, you must also configure HP SIM and
configure Insight managed system setup wizard using the msswinitconfig -a command. For
details see the msswinitconfig(1M) manpage.
