1-3 MPS Overview
MPS is part of the Multivendor and Application Adapter (MVAA) component of the HP Remote
Support Pack (RSP). RSP is a plug-in for the HP System Insight Manager (HPSIM) management
platform and is hosted on the customer-managed and customer-owned Central Management Server
(CMS).
MPS allows the transfer of creation and updates of all incidents available in RSP to OVO and also
permits OVO to collect incidents for a selected number of server platforms. In the future MPS
adapters to other industry management platforms will be provided.

OVO, and the HP service process which uses RSP.
